Walk in Bathtubs a Boon to Those With Limited Mobility

Premier Bathrooms

There's nothing quite like a long, relaxing soak in the bath to ease those aches and pains, wash away stresses of everyday life and promote well-being. However, for many individuals, climbing in and out of a conventional bathtub is too dangerous or physically impossible.

But limited mobility doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice the pleasure of bathing. Premier Bathrooms offers an array of walk in bathtubs that help make this simple pleasure available to everyone. The company's easy access walk in bathtubs and assisted bathing products make it safe and comfortable. "Our ever-increasing range of bathtubs means that we are able to cater for all situations and needs," says company president Stephen Jolley.

Peggy Archibald, 73, an active senior citizen credits her morning ritual of getting each day off to a good start to Premier Bathrooms. "I love to play golf, go dancing and enjoy dinners out with my friends," she says. "People would always ask me: 'Where do you get your energy?' Same way I always have, I'd tell them. I start each day with a nice relaxing bath." One morning in 2001 Peggy found herself without the strength to get out of her bathtub. Her son ordered her a specially designed walk in bathtub from Premier Bathrooms, which eased both their minds, and allowed Peggy to continue enjoying her morning bathing ritual.

You can choose from six different walk in bathtubs at Premier Bathrooms, or from their range of powered bath seat options. "These easy access baths are such a great solution for people who can't climb in and out of a conventional bathtub," says Premier Bathrooms spokesman Ed McMahon of The Tonight Show fame. "I'm extremely happy to be able to educate the public on the safety aspects of these products."
